Refund Policy

Bug Hutch Ltd (“TOWNGRID”, “we”, “us”) wants you to be satisfied with our Service. This Refund Policy outlines when and how you can request a refund.

1. Free Trial Period

All new subscriptions include a free trial period (14 days for Small and Professional plans, 21 days for Strategic Access). During the trial, you have full access to the Service at no charge.

If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. No refund is necessary as no payment is collected during the trial.

2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Our Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with TOWNGRID within the first 14 days after your first payment, you may request a full refund. No questions asked.

The 14-day guarantee period begins on the date your first payment is processed (i.e., when your trial ends and billing begins). To qualify, you must request the refund within 14 calendar days of that first charge.

3. After the Guarantee Period

After the 14-day money-back guarantee period has passed, monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. When you cancel, you retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period, but no partial refund is issued for the remaining days.

4. Annual Subscriptions

If annual billing is offered in the future and you cancel an annual subscription before the end of the annual term, you may be eligible for a prorated refund for the unused portion of the term, at our discretion. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email support@towngrid.io with the subject line “Refund Request”.
  2. Include the email address associated with your TOWNGRID account.
  3. We will process your refund within 5–10 business days.

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • The refund request is made after the 14-day guarantee period for monthly plans.
  • The account was terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service.
  • The request is fraudulent or made in bad faith.

7. Subscription Downgrades

If you downgrade from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No refund or credit is issued for the remaining days on the higher-tier plan.
